Shipping Executive - Garments exports

A reputed international sourcing and export organization is looking for a detail-oriented Shipping Executive to manage end-to-end export documentation and shipment coordination within the garment export domain.
This is a process-driven role requiring strong ownership of documentation accuracy, logistics coordination, and deadline management.
Role Objective To ensure timely and error-free export documentation, smooth coordination with buyers and vendors, and effective shipment tracking to meet customer deadlines and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and manage complete export documentation sets

• Coordinate with buyers on shipment schedules and logistics requirements

• Liaise with vendors for cargo readiness and document submission

• Ensure accurate and timely data entry in SAP, customer portals, and CR systems

• Monitor booking schedules and ensure adherence to vessel cut-offs

• Verify freight charges and conduct freight comparison analysis

• Follow up with vendors for timely handover of goods to freight forwarders

• Issue SAP Purchase Orders and process payment requests

• Support and coordinate LC opening formalities

• Maintain high standards of documentation accuracy with zero tolerance for errors

What We Are Looking For
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Garment Export / Shipping operations

• Strong understanding of export documentation processes

• Hands-on experience with SAP and buyer portals

• Exposure to LC documentation and freight coordination

• Ability to manage shipment deadlines under pressure

• Clear and professional communication skills
