Service Engineer– Product Refurbishment & Field Support will play a critical role in maintaining product quality and reliability. The position involves equipment refurbishment, repair, installation, spare harvesting, and on-site technical support as needed. This is a hands-on technical role requiring mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills, along with a strong sense of quality and safety.

Role
Refurbishment & Repair:
Inspect, diagnose, and refurbish returned or used fitness equipment (treadmills, cross trainers, bikes, etc.) to make them customer-ready.
Perform mechanical, electrical, and aesthetic repairs to restore full functionality and brand appearance.
Conduct preventive maintenance and safety checks on all refurbished equipment.
Spare Harvesting:
Identify reusable components from scrapped or damaged units.
Test, label, and safely store harvested spares for reuse to optimize cost and inventory.
Field Support (as required):
Visit customer gyms or homes for installation, repair, or inspection when additional support is required.
Ensure timely closure of field jobs with quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Operational Support:
Maintain accurate logs of refurbishment work, spares used, and testing outcomes.
Follow safety protocols, PPE usage, and warehouse hygiene standards.
Collaborate with warehouse, logistics, customer support, and service teams to ensure efficient workflow and minimal turnaround time (TAT).
Requirements
Minimum 2–3 years in gym equipment service, refurbishment, or technical maintenance.
Technical
Skills:
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting ability.
Familiarity with control boards, motors, belts, sensors, and mechanical assemblies.
Proficiency in hand and power tools.
Good communication and time management.
Willingness to travel for on-site service calls.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering (preferred).
Certifications:
OEM service training or related certifications are an added advantage.
