Showroom Manager – Sanitary & Hardware Showroom

About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and responsible Showroom Manager to lead and manage our sanitary fittings and hardware showroom operations. This is a managerial position and requires prior hands-on experience in showroom management (not supervisor-level experience). The selected candidate will be responsible for complete showroom operations including staff management, sales growth, inventory control, customer handling, and overall store performance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Showroom Operations Management
- Handle complete day-to-day showroom operations.
- Ensure showroom display, cleanliness, and product presentation standards.
- Monitor opening and closing procedures.
2. Sales & Revenue Management
- Drive showroom sales targets and revenue growth.
- Guide sales staff to convert walk-in customers effectively.
- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance.
- Handle high-value customer negotiations when required.
3. Staff Management
- Supervise, train, and manage showroom sales executives and support staff.
- Allocate duties and ensure staff discipline.
- Maintain team motivation and productivity.
- Conduct regular performance reviews.
4. Inventory & Stock Control
- Maintain proper stock levels of sanitary fittings and hardware products.
- Coordinate with purchase department for replenishment.
- Monitor fast-moving and slow-moving inventory.
- Ensure proper stock audit and reconciliation.
5. Customer Relationship Management
- Handle escalated customer issues and complaints.
- Maintain strong relationships with contractors, builders, plumbers, and architects.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
6. Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain daily sales reports, stock reports, and staff attendance.
- Submit regular performance reports to management.
- Ensure proper billing and system entries.
7. Vendor & Brand Coordination
- Coordinate with suppliers and brand representatives.
- Ensure product knowledge updates for staff.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Showroom Manager in sanitary fittings, tiles, hardware, building materials, or related industry.
- Must have prior experience handling complete showroom operations independently.
- Experience as only Supervisor / Security Supervisor / Floor Supervisor will NOT be considered unless the candidate has handled full showroom responsibility.
- Strong leadership and team handling skills.
- Good understanding of sanitary products, fittings, and hardware items.
- Basic knowledge of billing software and MS Excel.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Graduate preferred (but strong experience candidates can be considered).
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Experience managing 4–10 staff members.
- Exposure to high-value customer handling.
- Strong local market knowledge.
- Target-oriented and disciplined.
Salary:
