Our client is a new-age luxury fashion platform that curates authentic, hype sneakers, premium streetwear, and high-end accessories for modern consumers across India and the international market.
About the Role
As a Category Manager, you'll own, scale, and shape one or more key categories end-to-end; from research, sourcing, and curation to performance, partnerships, and expansion.
This role is designed for professionals who don't just manage categories; they live them.

Fashion Apparel
Footwear
Beauty & Skincare
Perfumes & Fragrances
Watches & Jewellery
Key Responsibilities
Category Ownership & Growth
Stay up-to-date with luxury, hype, and emerging brands and products within your category.
Identify, onboard, and list the right brands, products, and SKUs.
Own category P&L and drive sustainable growth.
Spot white spaces, upcoming trends, and unmet customer demand to fuel expansion.
Curate a differentiated assortment that aligns with the brand's cultural positioning.
Manage supply, demand, and overall performance metrics across the category.
Partnerships & Negotiations
Build and scale relationships with brands, distributors, and sellers.
Negotiate strong commercial terms — including margins, exclusives, and collaborations.
Ensure consistent supply continuity, healthy inventory mix, and product availability.
Marketplace Performance & Collaboration
Drive GMV, margins, conversions, and sell-through rates.
Partner with operations, marketing, and growth teams to optimize performance.
Lead cross-functional collaboration and manage multiple internal stakeholders.
Analyze category KPIs and translate data into actionable business insights.
Curation & Cultural Relevance
Be the tastemaker for your category; decide what comes in and what doesn't.
Maintain high aesthetic and cultural standards for all products and brands onboarded.
Keep pace with global and local trends, creators, and launches to stay ahead.
Ideal Background
Experience
2–5 years in marketplace, consumer internet, or e-commerce roles.
Prior experience in companies like Myntra, Nykaa, Tira, Urban Company, Jabong, or AJIO is a plus .
Hands-on experience in category management, buying, merchandising, or growth.
Skills
Strong analytical ability and commercial acumen.
Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-growth environments with ambiguity.
Ability to blend data-driven decisions with taste and intuition.
