Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Chef located in Gurugram. The Chef will be responsible for planning menus, preparing and cooking high-quality Chinese cuisine, and ensuring food is cooked to the highest standards. Additional responsibilities include overseeing kitchen operations, maintaining food safety and hygiene, managing inventory, and training junior kitchen staff as needed. The role requires attention to detail, creativity, and a passion for the culinary arts.

Qualifications

Proficient in Chinese culinary techniques, recipe creation, and food presentation
Strong understanding of kitchen operations, food safety, and hygiene practices
Ability to manage inventory, prepare menus, and keep track of ingredient quality
Experience in training and supervising junior kitchen staff
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain high-quality cooking standards
Formal culinary training or certification is preferred
Previous experience as a Chef specializing in Chinese cuisine is highly desirable
