(PPC Engineer)
Production Planning And Scheduling
Develop and implement production schedules based on demand forecasts, inventory levels, and material availability.
Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as necessary to meet delivery targets.
Coordinate with procurement to ensure raw materials are available as per production requirements.
Process Optimization
Analyze production processes and identify opportunities for improvement to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
Implement lean manufacturing techniques and other best practices to improve productivity.
Resource Management
Monitor and manage the allocation of resources, including manpower, machinery, and materials, to meet production goals.
Ensure that production equipment is maintained and functioning properly to prevent downtime.
Quality Assurance
Work closely with the quality control team to ensure products meet quality standards.
Collaborate with the production team to address any quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Data Analysis And Reporting
Collect, analyze, and report data related to production performance, efficiency, and resource utilization.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports for management review.
Coordination And Communication
Coordinate with various departments (e.g., production, procurement, logistics) to ensure smooth operations and address any production issues.
Communicate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.
Inventory Management
Monitor inventory levels and work with the warehouse and procurement teams to maintain optimal stock levels.
Implement inventory control procedures to minimize excess inventory and reduce costs.
Compliance And Safety
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards within the production area.
Promote a safe working environment by conducting regular safety audits and training sessions.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
2-5 years of experience in production planning and control, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment
