B. E/

B. Tech (Preferably ECE, EEE, Electrical, Mechanical)

Work Experience:

Years of exp. Desired:  2-5 years post-graduation
Nature of work exp:
Experience in Sheet Metal / Plastics / Casting / Forging / Sintered parts Domain.
Good Understanding of Sheet Metal / Plastics / Casting / Forging / Sintering Process
Knowledge of Quality related issues in the part categories.

Any industry preference:  Automobile/Auto-ancillary

Key Responsibilities:

Understanding the system process of the supplier and work with them in various improvement activities
Monitor development timelines and ensure development in line with New Model Trials planned rdinate with different stakeholders within the company.
Costing, Negotiation, and Sourcing for New Model parts as per the costing targets and sourcing timelines
Supply de-risking through alternate source introduction, localization, multiple plants lines, etc.
MIS reporting activities, budget making and monitoring, vendor capacity assessment, etc.
To support in resolving quality issues, and controlling defects during development and mass production.
Ensuring Business continuity plan with existing vendor base by achieving comprehensive excellence ong follow-up and tracking of all activities related to production supply.
Perform risk management to minimize project risks and develop a risk mitigation plan.
Monitor progress and adjust as needed to ensure successful completion of projects.

Competencies:

Sound knowledge of the concepts related to System process.
Good understanding and development know-how of various manufacturing processes.
Knowledge of Manufacturing process, plant functioning logistics
Data-driven approach- analyze and propose strategies.
Strategic thinker to analyze and propose short-term and long-term solutions.
Strong execution orientation and problem-solving approach
Proficiency in using MS Office [MS Excel, Word, PPT, Power BI)
