AM Plastic Parts Mass Production Quality

Job Responsibilties   :
Knowledge of manufacturing process of Plastic molding parts.
Plastic part evaluation & failure analysis.(FTA ,5 why analysis and 8D method)
Analysis of Part Quality issues & countermeasure planning.
Technical guidance to vendor for Plastic parts manufacturing process.
Knowledge of Polymer Material Testing (Material Characterization / Mechanical Properties / Thermal Properties / Environmental properties etc.)
Plastic processing, Tool and material technical knowhow should be available.
Know how of Plastics Parts PFMEA and required actions planning with vendors.

Competency :
knowledge of plastic , 2k molding manufacturing process and best practices in similar industry.
Expertise in checking fixture design & concept generation.
Good understanding of Plastic raw material spec & usage areas.
Analysis and root cause identification of Quality issues of plastic parts.
Ability to understand Draw Spec and part Fitment Requirements
Practical application of Quality Control Tools, including theoretical background of SPC, Analytical tools and Six sigma.
Working Knowledge of Tools / Dies & various inspection aids (gauges /Jigs / Fixtures / Test Rigs, Etc.).
Clear & Good communication skills.
Ability to work in lean, multi tasking environment.
Ability to handle the product & situation independently.

Specific Expertise with

Functional Area

s :
Should be well versed with various Plastic ( 2k , 3K ) manufacturing processes like Moulding,etc.
Having experience in Automobile Industry
Knowledge about the checking fixture concept
Computer environment proficiency is essential for proper Documentation, presentation and its data retrieval. (MS office).
Openness & positive attitude to work in team.
Good understanding of Failure /Root cause analysis
