Job Role  :
1) Independently handling Mold flow & cooling analysis (simulation) & mold design of big plastic parts like car bumper / Instrument panel
2) Know how of plastic part quality issues and injection mold process from machining, assembly & trials issues and to take countermeasures in design

Educational  :
Diploma / B.E. /

B.Tech in Tooling (Tool and Die Making from TRTC, CITD, etc.), Mechanical/Production.

Experience  :
Diploma - 7 - 12 years
B.Tech - 2 - 6 Years

Job Responsibilities  :
Project Planning :
Coordination with Customer for project planning, ECN implementation & costing, etc.
CAE (mold flow simulation) :
1. Capability to do mold flow analysis and cooling analysis for big plastic car parts like Bumpers & Instrument panels
2. Capability of providing countermeasures for mold flow issues
3. Managing closure of all feedback with internal customers
Mold design:
1. Mold design for big parts like Bumper & Instrument panels
2. Knowledge of hot runner system in Mold
3. Able to review Part/product design and injection mold design for issues and take countermeasures in new mold development.
4. Able to make/review 2D drawings & electrode designs for mold manufacturing  Mold manufacturing:
1. Machining knowledge
2. Mold assembly & Spotting knowledge
3. Inspection of mold at various stages of manufacturing
4. Mold trial issues, defects, and its countermeasures
5. Knowhow of optimum process parameter setting & cycle time reduction techniques

Competencies/Skills  :
Good knowledge of software's UG NX, Autodesk Moldflow.
Experience in Automobile OEM industry.
