Caramelly is looking for an experienced   Roast Master   to lead our coffee production. This is a hands-on role for someone who loves the craft of roasting and has a strong palate for tasting.

Your Responsibilities:
Hands-on Roasting:
Daily operation of our new Probat roaster.
Quality Control:
Cupping and tasting every batch to ensure the best quality .
Profile Building:
Creating and saving roast profiles for different types of coffee beans.
Machine Care:
Basic cleaning and regular maintenance of the roasting equipment.
Green Coffee:
Checking the quality of green bean samples before roasting.

Requirements:

Experience:

At least   4 years   of hands-on coffee roasting experience.
Tasting

Skills:

Strong knowledge of 'cupping' and identifying coffee flavors.
Technical Knowledge:
Understanding of roast curves and roasting software (like Cropster or Artisan).
Passion:
Deep knowledge of coffee origins and different processing methods.
Work Style:
Must be able to work onsite at our roastery and handle physical work.
