About
The Role
Role holder will be responsible for driving service levels with analytics by measuring Key performance indicators (KPI). Role holder would be custodian of maintaining & preserving high quality data
-Sales history, Forecasting, Inventory performance year on year for measuring & reporting key business drivers.
This role owns Business Analytics of supply services, Role holder needs to interact closely with the Demand, Supply planner & Logistics teams for maintaining quality data and suggest corrective actions to maximize stock availability while ensuring controlled inventory levels. This role needs to lead Asia Service calls while representing domestic market, factories & Co-packs for stock non availability.
Your responsibilities
Everyday analytics to identify potential stockouts, benchmark safety stock basis 1/3/7-day cover.
Identify & Initiate inter CFA movements to avoid stock imbalances & improve service levels.
Maintenance of master data for Planning Systems i.e. Kinaxis DP & SCP. For DP, key activities include forecast item management, PIPO management, historical sales data management, inventory norms management, T-lane management, product lifecycle management.
24 Month Stat forecast generation, model selections & evaluation to continuously improve Stat FA.
Evaluate forecast accuracy of demand planning and suggest improvements.
Measure weighted stock index and India product availability basis forecast norms.
Track slow moving inventory and suggest absorption through Alternative Masters
Track sale phasing, Monitor DC space utilization vs truck detention across DCs.
Monitor Inventory levels & predict estimated closings for the month at county level.
Highlight excess inventory at DC over rolling forecast & suggest production cuts to control overall inventory.
Perform problem and trend analyses to identify and correct problems and increase data quality.
Manage the efforts to identify, troubleshoot, cleanse, organize and update data on an on-going basis.
Ensure data integrity and quality across all areas of MDM through business controls and audits.
Build quality into data management processes & define processes and roles.
Resolves master data issues, applying preventative measures through business intelligence.
The experience we're looking for
2-4 Years of experience in Demand/Supply Planning and Analytics
Ability to deep dive independently in business analytics, thereby should be self-driven.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills thus good knowledge in Excel is must. (Should be able to draft good dashboards through extensive formulations)
Ability to drive independently with global support team thus Project management & communication skills would be preferred.
Power BI, SAP APO & SAP BW/BI experience would be added advantage.
Achievement focused and able to handle pressure situation.
