The Team
The WSO Consulting Team delivers complex data extraction solutions for Wall Street Office software. A WSO Consulting Business Analyst develops custom reporting solutions that improve decision-making and operational efficiency for internal and external clients, reducing manual effort and errors, allowing clients to concentrate on analysis instead of data compilation. These solutions present data in tailored formats for different stakeholders, utilizing advanced visualization techniques to make complex data more understandable and actionable.
As clients grow, custom reporting solutions can scale to handle increased data volumes and complexity, ensuring continued relevance and utility.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external clients, establishing and maintaining strong relationships
Lead project planning sessions, defining project scope, project schedules, objectives, and deliverables
Gather and communicate client requirements, project updates and deliverables to clients effectively, to ensure project alignment with client expectations
Monitor project progress and performance, making adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion
Collaborate with technical teams to understand project requirements and deliverables
Provide technical guidance and support to clients, addressing any issues or concerns
Stay updated on software and industry trends and technologies to offer innovative solutions to clients
Ability to interpret complex data sets and translate findings into actionable insights
What We're Looking For
Basic
Required Qualifications:
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively
Finance background
Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Adaptability to changing data environments and requirements.
Additional
Preferred Qualifications
Syndicated bank loan knowledge
WSO software knowledge
Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office software, Azure Dev Ops, SQL Server Management Studio
