The Instructional Designer is responsible for analyzing, designing,and developing superior quality learning content and programs. Learning creation includes using current,newand emerging instructional technology to create experiential learning solutionsincludinge-learning, videos,instructor-led training (ILT), e-learning,job aids,study guides, and other learning materials.
The Instructional Designer is naturally curious, highly creative, an independent thinker, and approaches all learning development with the end user in mind.
Additional responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders to develop custom content, developing curriculums, reporting and measurement, building and managing a catalog of employee training,planning and developing new courses, and managing learning related projects, in scope, on time and on budget.
Responsibilities
Content Design & Creation
Manage the end-to-end process of creating and updating learning content
Draft and reviewlearningobjectives,course content/storyboardsand finalmaterialswith subject matter experts
Manage content effectively including version control and data security
Build innovative course interactions using Articulate, and publish SCORM andx
APIcompliant courses in a Learning Management System
Participate in design meetings with teammembersand subject matter experts to conceptualize program look/feel, standards,templates and content development formats
Expert knowledge of instructional design and adult learning theory
Maintain knowledge of new learning approaches, technology and tools through continuous learning and research to ensure delivery of innovative solutions
Technical Skills & Attributes
Experience developing eLearning, online tutorials, gaming, collaborative learning environments, and blended learning programs
Experience using
Canva and Articulate 360,both Storylineand Rise
Expertproficiencyin MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint)
Visual design skills and ability to storyboard
Proficiency in audio and video editing
Demonstrated experience publishing and tracking eLearning courses in a Learning Management System (Absorb LMS experience preferred)
Excellent planning, programmanagementand documentation skills with meticulous attention to detail

Able to juggle multiple programs and requests in a dynamic environment
Able to give and receive feedback positively
Engage with SMEs and stakeholders in a professional and inquisitive manner to develop high quality content

Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in related field
5 years' experience in instructional design and developing learning content
Experience in a corporate training environment working on instructional design assignments across multiple teams and groups.
Ability to collaborate with subject matter experts, global stakeholders, and managers.
Proficiency using Canva and Articulate 360, specifically
Storyline andRise
