Client: A reputed CBSE school
A well-established CBSE school in South West Delhi is looking to appoint an experienced PGT English Teacher to lead English Language and Literature instruction for senior secondary students (Grades 11 & 12).
This is a senior academic role, ideal for an educator who is deeply passionate about literature, language, and shaping critical thinking and communication skills in young adults.
Role Overview :
As a PGT English teacher, you will be responsible for delivering in-depth instruction in English Literature and Language in alignment with the CBSE curriculum. You will play a key role in academic excellence while also inspiring students to develop a genuine appreciation for language, literature, and effective communication.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach English Language and Literature to Grades 11 and 12 as per CBSE guidelines
Plan and deliver structured, engaging, and curriculum-aligned lesson plans
Conduct regular assessments, examinations, and evaluations
Provide constructive feedback to support student improvement and growth
Maintain accurate records of student performance and academic progress
Encourage critical thinking, discussion, and literary appreciation in the classroom
Organise and participate in literary activities, debates, and discussions
Serve as a role model for effective communication and academic integrity
Qualifications &
Experience:
BA English (Hons), MA English,
B.Ed. from one of the top universities in India (full-time programmes only)
Minimum 7 years of post-qualification experience teaching in a reputed school in a similar capacity
