Role Overview
Northumbria University invites applications for the position of Manager Student Credibility & Compliance based in Gurugram India. As a key member of the Regional Team, the postholder will support the compliance and credibility process for the South Asia region.
The role requires occasional travel, along with flexibility to work during weekends as needed. This role will report to the Regional Director – South Asia.

Key Responsibilities

· Manage compliance and credibility process for the region

· Conduct checks and verifications for the academic and Financial Documents

· Prepare and Guide Visas for the Direct Students who do not work with an Agent

· Develop, implement, and monitor market‑specific risk assessment strategies and action plans.

· To work with Agents/Partners to ensure timely submission of Visa applications and CAS Documents

· Be point of contact with Central Compliance team.

· Conduct Pre offer Calls for applicants from High-risk regions

· Conduct Credibility Interviews for CAS requested students.

· Respond constructively to feedback and continuously improve processes to meet stakeholder expectations.

· Demonstrate adaptability and a positive approach to change in support of evolving University needs.

· Undertake any other duties commensurate with the scope and level of the role.

Experience & Qualifications
Essential:

· Experience communicating effectively with diverse audiences, with the ability to tailor messaging appropriately.

· Experience engaging prospective students through calls, messages, and email outreach.

· Experience developing social media creatives and digital marketing content.

· Experience assessing applications and making admissions decisions.

· Strong understanding of credibility checks and risk assessment in student recruitment.

· Well versed with working with Enroly and the imparting required training to the agents/partners and students for documents

Desirable:

· Prior experience working in compliance and verifications for a UK university handling South Asian country.

· Master's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience of 8 years

· Extensive knowledge in Academic and Financial verifications of applicants

Skills & Competencies

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

· Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.

· Ability to work effectively in a target‑driven environment and manage pressure.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and design tools such as Canva and Adobe.

· Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a results‑oriented team.

· Flexible, committed, and self‑motivated.
