Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for a TGT Social Studies teacher based in Gurgaon. The teacher will be responsible for lesson planning, delivering engaging and interactive instructional sessions, assessing students' academic progress, and fostering critical thinking and curiosity among learners. They will also participate in parent-teacher meetings, collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum design, and ensure alignment with educational standards.

The candidate will support students' overall growth and uphold a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Qualifications

Strong subject knowledge in Social Studies, including history, geography, civics, and economics
Proficiency in planning lessons, facilitating discussions, and employing innovative teaching methods
Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with colleagues and interact with students, parents, and stakeholders
Classroom management, organizational skills, and the ability to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment
Relevant teaching certifications and a Bachelor's or Master's degree in social science, education, or a related field
Prior experience as a Social Studies teacher in a reputed institution is preferred
Passion for education and commitment to students' holistic development
