Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role at Amity University Haryana in Gurugram, for an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE). The role involves conducting high-quality research, delivering lectures, mentoring students, designing curricula, and participating in departmental and university-level academic and administrative activities. The Assistant Professor will contribute to both undergraduate and postgraduate programs, ensuring student success and engagement through innovative teaching methodologies.
Additionally, faculty members are encouraged to lead research initiatives, collaborate on interdisciplinary projects, and continually enhance their domain expertise.
Qualifications
Strong proficiency in teaching core Computer Science and Engineering topics like Programming, Data Structures, Algorithms, and Software Development.
Research expertise in emerging areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Cloud Computing, or Cybersecurity.
Proven skills in technical writing, publishing papers in peer-reviewed journals, and presenting at conferences or seminars.
Experience in curriculum development, academic content creation, and e-learning tools.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on delivering engaging and effective lectures.
A Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering or a closely related field is required. Candidates with ongoing significant research contributions will be preferred.
Previous teaching experience at the university level will be advantageous.
