Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Counselor located in Gurgaon. As a Counselor, you will work closely with students to provide personalized guidance regarding study opportunities abroad, perform in-depth profile assessments, and suggest suitable academic programs and institutions. You'll be responsible for assisting with application processes, documentation preparation, and offering support for visa applications and pre-departure planning. The Counselor will serve as a mentor to students, advising them on their educational paths and ensuring they make well-informed decisions regarding their future studies.
Qualifications
Skills in counseling, active listening, and effective communication to guide students in making informed decisions
Experience with application processes, university/college selection, and document preparation for admissions
Knowledge of visa procedures and international education systems
Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail for managing multiple student profiles and submissions
Ability to empathize with students and understand their unique goals, needs, and challenges
Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills to address student concerns and provide tailored solutions
Proficiency in operating support tools and familiarity with the education consultancy sector is advantageous
Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field; prior experience in academic counseling is beneficial
