Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Academic Counselor, located in Gurugram. The Academic Counselor will be responsible for guiding students in their academic and career choices. Day-to-day responsibilities include providing student counseling, academic advising, and career counseling, as well as supporting education and skill development. The role involves effectively communicating with students to understand their needs and help them achieve their goals.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Student Counseling and Career Counseling to help students with academic and professional decisions
Strong Communication skills to build relationships and convey guidance effectively
Experience in Academic Advising to provide tailored support and resources for students
An educational background or experience in the field of Education
Ability to demonstrate empathy, active listening, and problem-solving for students' challenges
Familiarity with academic institutions, curriculum, and career resources is an advantage
Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Education, Psychology, or a related field is preferred
