Job Responsibilities:

• Content writer will be responsible for all content related to the brand and its products, for various offline and online channels, including but not limited to- website brand content, blogs, social media content, concept notes & themes, cultural & editorial content, store content, emailers & newsletters, performance marketing ads, new launch product texts, and scripts.

• Create / write new content and concepts to assist all marketing campaigns. The position requires frequent liaison with the Marketing and Graphics Team.

• Regularly reference new ideas by researching industry-related topics & relevant competitor brands.

• Identify customers' needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics.

• Write marketing ad copies and branded content that aptly capture the brand USPs and are also engaging to read.

• Development for innovative and unique content for global, local, and regional marketing campaigns. Focus:
India & International differentiators.

• The content writer will also be tasked with elevating the brand's social media presence by developing engaging content ideas for stories and posts.

• Prepare well-structured drafts using Content Management Systems.

• Conduct keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic.

• Write, proofread, and edit blog posts before publication.

• Ensure all-round consistency (style, fonts, and images) of the content.

• Update website content as needed.

• Brand Custodian: the content writer should over time develop a deep understanding of company philosophy & develop the Brand's communication guidelines & tone of voice.

Experience and

Qualification:

Proven work experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter, or a similar role. Experience in a fashion retail or beauty brand preferred
Total work experience of 2-3 years with minimum 1 year in a content role in a D2C ecommerce company
Portfolio of published articles.
Experienced in conducting research using multiple sources.
Familiarity with web publications.

• Excellent writing and editing skills in English.

• Strong conceptualization.

• Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g., Word Press).

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.

• Bachelor's Degree in Journalism / Mass Communication or BA / MA in English Literature
