Accountant, Financial Reporting, Accounting Manager

Position Overview:

The accountant will be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting operations for Seitz Cleaning Solutions Pvt. Ltd. and supporting accounting activities of other Seitz group companies through Odoo, ensuring accuracy in financial records, compliance with accounting standards, and timely submission of reports. The role requires proficiency in Tally ERP, along with strong analytical and reporting skills.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Core Accounting Functions

• Manage and maintain India Tally Accounting and Odoo Accounting for Seitz companies in other countries as assigned.

• Record, reconcile, and verify all financial transactions including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.

• Prepare and post journal entries, maintain ledgers, and perform account reconciliations.

• Support the month-end and year-end closing process.

• Ensure compliance with statutory and internal accounting policies.
2. Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare and submit:
o Weekly Debtor Outstanding Reports
o Monthly India Financial Reports
o Weekly E-commerce Financial Reports
o Financial Overview Reports for management review.

• Assist in audit preparations and provide necessary documentation.

3. Cross-Functional & Administrative Support

• Collaborate with HR for accounting support during new recruitments or onboarding where required.

• Coordinate with global teams for accounting data consistency and reporting formats.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

• Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.

• Ability to manage multiple reporting timelines.

• Good communication and coordination skills for cross-country collaboration.

• Proficiency in Tally is mandatory.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance.

• Minimum 1–10 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a multinational or multi-entity setup.

• Working knowledge of international accounting practices will be an added advantage.
