Audit Intern

About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented  Audit Intern  with hands-on experience in an audit firm to support our finance and compliance team. The intern will assist in audit-related activities, documentation, and financial reviews while gaining practical exposure to internal and statutory audit processes.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in internal, statutory, and tax audit activities.
Support audit planning, execution, and documentation as per audit checklists.
Verify financial records, vouchers, invoices, and supporting documents.
Assist in preparation of audit working papers and reports.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate with internal teams to collect required audit information.
Identify discrepancies and support the team in resolving audit observations.
Maintain proper documentation and audit trails.

Required

Skills & Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Commerce (B.Com) or pursuing CA/CS/CMA.
Basic knowledge of accounting principles, auditing standards, and statutory compliance.
Proficiency in MS Excel and basic accounting software.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Good communication and documentation skills.
Ability to meet deadlines and work in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to statutory audits, internal audits, or tax audits.
Familiarity with Tally, ERP systems, or similar accounting tools.
Willingness to learn and take ownership of tasks.
