CNC Milling/Turning Set-up/Operator – 1st Shift at Ludlow Mfg Inc

Location:

Waukegan/Gurnee area.

Schedule:

Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM (3-day weekends). Salary: $18–$35/hr (based on experience). Language:
Bilingual (Spanish) preferred. Compliance:
Ludlow uses E-Verify to confirm work eligibility in the U.S.

• Set up and operate CNC Mills, Lathes, and Swiss Turning Centers
• Read and interpret blueprints, setup sheets, programs, and routers
• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections using micrometers, calipers, and gauges
• Maintain quality assurance records and meet engineering specifications
• Keep equipment running efficiently and support continuous improvement
• Report daily production in ERP system

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5–10 years’ experience setting up/programming CNC milling & turning machines
• 3–5 years’ experience in machining
• Skilled with micrometers, calipers, and blueprint interpretation

• Haas or Tsugami machine experience
