Silver Rising Therapy consists of a team of LCSWs, LCPCs and LPCs who provide on-site emotional support and cognitive therapy to residents at senior living communities, including independent living, assisted living, and memory care.

Inspire provides you with referrals/clients, you will provide care to clients and are compensated on a bi-weekly basis.

This is an independent contractor position offering flexible hours and the ability to focus your time working with clients and providing excellent client care.

All therapists will be provided with training on policies, procedures, and use of our electronic health records platform.

Candidates will provide one-on-one therapy sessions to residents on-site at a senior community in Gurnee.

To be successful, our therapists need to be capable of…

• Conducting initial and ongoing evaluations and developing individualized treatment plans.
• Providing evidence-based individual and group counseling.
• Maintaining accurate documentation of client progress and outcomes.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams for holistic care.
• Staying updated on best practices in mental health treatment.
• Keeping families, POAs and community professionals updated
• Meeting the residents where they're at, finding unique ways to approach complex conversations and helping residents navigate ongoing life transitions.
• Previous experience with older adults preferred, but not required

• Access to ongoing training and resources.

• Master's degree in counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
• Valid state licensure (LCSW, LCPC, LPC or equivalent).
• 2+ years of senior care experience preferred
• Clinical experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and team-building skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to ethical practice and continuing education.
• Knowledge of counseling services, including substance abuse and violence prevention.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Must provide proof of independent state licensure, malpractice insurance, and pass a background check.
