Addison Group is partnering with a growing manufacturing organization to hire a Logistics Specialist for a contract opportunity. This newly created role will support the integration of a new brand and provide day-to-day inventory and logistics support. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.

The Logistics Specialist will support inventory operations by ensuring accurate transaction processing, inventory tracking, and warehouse replenishment across manufacturing and off-site warehouse locations. This role plays a critical part in maintaining data integrity, resolving discrepancies, and supporting production through system and administrative functions.

• Process inventory transactions, including receipts, transfers, and shipments within the ERP and WMS systems
• Monitor and manage a high-volume shared inbox, responding to shipment and inventory inquiries
• Enter shipment and tracking details into internal systems and communicate updates to stakeholders
• Assist with reconciliation of inventory discrepancies and help determine root causes
• Review and maintain open purchase orders and supply chain transfer records
• Support production teams with accurate inventory updates, documentation, and reporting
• Help coordinate inbound and outbound shipments
• Assist with physical inventory counts and audits as needed
• Generate reports and perform data analysis using Excel and reporting tools
• Participate in special projects to improve inventory accuracy and operational efficiency

• 2+ years of experience in logistics, inventory control, warehousing, or supply chain operations
• Manufacturing or warehouse environment experience required
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, reporting)
• Experience with ERP and warehouse management systems preferred
• High attention to detail with strong organizational and follow-up skills
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines in a remote setting
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
