Title: Accounting Analyst
Location: Libertyville, Illinois
Assignment Type: 3- month contract with potential for conversion
Compensation: $25.00 - $27.00/ Hourly depending on relevant experience

Job Responsibilities:- Manage the full-cycle accounts payable process, including reviewing, coding, and processing invoices for payment.
- Process a high volume of PO and non-PO invoices while ensuring accuracy and proper approvals.
- Reconcile vendor statements and investigate discrepancies to ensure accounts are accurate and up to date.
- Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve invoice, payment, and billing issues.
- Assist with weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers.
- Prepare and maintain AP aging reports and assist with month-end close processes.
- Support account reconciliations, journal entries, and financial analysis as needed.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and accounting procedures.
- Analyze accounts payable data to identify trends, discrepancies, or opportunities for process improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related required
- 1–3 years of accounting or accounts payable experience.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Net Suite, or similar).
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data analysis).
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 4–7+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Proven experience with journal entries, reconciliations, and month‑end close
- High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
