The Systems Engineer – Oracle HCM Fusion Cloud will serve as a technical expert responsible for the support, maintenance, troubleshooting, and enhancement of Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM Payroll module. This role requires deep technical expertise in Oracle HCM Fusion Cloud, with a strong emphasis on Payroll configuration, integration, and optimization. The ideal candidate will have proven experience deploying new capabilities and supporting complex enterprise environments.

Responsibilities
Analyze complex business requirements and develop detailed technical design specifications in accordance with organizational standards.
Collaborate with technical teams to guide design decisions and deliver scalable, high-performing solutions.
Apply deep working knowledge of Oracle Fusion Cloud Payroll processes, configurations, and Fast Formulas to deliver accurate efficient solutions and meet evolving business needs.
Research and resolve Payroll configuration and technical issues quickly, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, CIS, MIS, Information Technology, or a related field (required).
7-10 years of demonstrated experience in systems engineering or related technical roles.
Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM, specializing in Payroll.
Experience deploying Payroll capabilities for large service-driven organizations.
Strong technical, analytical, and communication skills, coupled with a collaborative, team oriented approach.
Required Skills
Strong systems-thinking capability, with the ability to transition between high-level architectural design and detailed technical implementation.
Data-driven decision-making skills, with the ability to act decisively under uncertainty and adapt to emerging technologies and organizational strategies.
Knowledge of Oracle HCM Payroll concepts and a solid understanding of core payroll processes, including Retro calculations, payroll calculations, pay slip generation, calculation cards, and interfaces to GL/AP.
Ability to troubleshoot payroll calculation errors effectively.
Technical expertise in Oracle HCM Fusion Cloud tools (mandatory): HCM Data Loader (HDL), BI Publisher, HCM Extracts, Fast Formulas.
Redwood UI and Visual Builder Studio (VBS) preferred.
Functional knowledge and experience in setting up payroll elements and balance definitions is a plus.
Self-motivated and proactive, capable of working independently with minimal guidance across new and legacy Oracle Fusion configurations.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
