Role Description
As a Content & Organic Traffic Intern at Alike, you will work at the intersection of content, SEO, GEO, AEO, AI-led discovery, and distribution. This is not a passive internship — you will actively contribute to live campaigns while learning how modern brands build visibility, authority, and trust across platforms. You will collaborate closely with the marketing and content teams to create, optimise, and distribute content across search engines and community-driven platforms such as Reddit, Medium, and Substack, while understanding how AI is reshaping content discovery and consumption.
You will also develop working knowledge and in-house ownership of meta tags, internal links, schema, and dev ticket coordination — going beyond surface-level "SEO ranking" to understand the full technical and editorial stack.

Off-page SEO & You Tube— outreaching travel journals/creators, setting up review frameworks in forums and magazines
How to build and iterate a brand's Organic Marketing playbook from scratch
Key Responsibilities
• Write clear, human, and well-researched blogs and content aligned with Alike's brand
voice
• Optimise content for SEO and generative discovery (GEO/AEO) — including titles,
structure, and search intent
• Assist in creating simple blog visuals and image assets for blogs and social platforms
• Distribute and adapt content for Reddit, Medium, and Substack with platform-native
formatting
• Conduct topic, keyword, and trend research using AI tools and search data platforms
• Support internal SEO operations: meta data, internal linking, schema, content updates,
and basic dev coordination
• Track and analyse performance metrics: publish velocity vs plan, content quality scores,
SERP CTR, scroll depth, and time on page
• Assist with outreach to travel journals, guest bloggers, forums, and magazines for off-page opportunities
• Proofread live blogs and update old content based on editorial feedback and
performance insights
• Contribute to the newsletter and Organic Marketing playbook
• Support in-house reel shoots as required for social media content
