We are seeking a dynamic and hands-on leader to drive AI and Analytics services for a strategic account. This role will oversee a team of engagement managers, project managers, and analytics professionals (team size ~40–50), ensuring delivery excellence across multiple programs while fostering innovation and growth.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading large-scale analytics engagements, managing end-to-end data and machine learning life cycles, and partnering with senior stakeholders to shape transformative solutions. This is a leadership role requiring a blend of strategic thinking, operational rigor, and a growth mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Account Leadership:
Serve as the primary AI & Analytics leader for the account, driving strategy, delivery, and client engagement. Build strong relationships with senior client stakeholders to identify opportunities for value creation through data-driven solutions.
Delivery Excellence:
Oversee multiple engagements across data engineering, advanced analytics, and machine learning initiatives. Ensure high-quality delivery aligned with client objectives and EXL standards. Provide hands-on guidance on solution design, architecture, and implementation when needed.
Team Management:
Lead and mentor a diverse team of engagement managers, project managers, and analytics professionals. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
Growth & Transformation:
Identify and drive opportunities for account growth through consulting-led approaches and differentiated AI/ML offerings. Partner with internal teams to develop new solutions and accelerators that enhance client outcomes.
Required Skills & Experience
Leadership
Experience:
Demonstrated success in leading large analytics programs and managing multi-disciplinary teams. Experience in managing multiple engagements simultaneously in a consulting or services environment.
Technical Expertise:
Strong understanding of the data and machine learning lifecycle, including data strategy, engineering, modeling, and deployment. Familiarity with modern cloud platforms, AI/ML tools, and data governance practices.
Consulting Mindset:
Ability to translate business challenges into data-driven solutions. Skilled in stakeholder management, storytelling with data, and influencing senior executives.
Growth Orientation:
Proven ability to identify new opportunities and scale analytics services within strategic accounts. Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
Preferred Qualifications
12+ years of experience in analytics, data science, or related fields, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.
Prior experience in management consulting or analytics services for global clients.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) & Success Metrics
Delivery Excellence: 95%+ on-time delivery across all engagements;
Zero critical delivery escalations per quarter.
Client Satisfaction:
Maintain client satisfaction scores above agreed benchmarks (e.g., CSAT > 8/10);
Positive feedback from senior stakeholders on strategic value delivered.
Team Engagement & Development:
Achieve high team engagement scores in internal surveys;
Develop succession plans and career growth paths for key team members.
Account Growth:
Drive year-over-year growth in analytics services revenue for the account;
Identify and convert at least 2–3 new strategic opportunities annually.
Innovation & Thought Leadership:
Deliver at least one new AI/ML solution or accelerator per year;
Publish thought leadership content or participate in industry forums representing EXL.
