Role Overview

The Project Manager will be responsible for end-to-end technical implementation, integration, and delivery of Direct Carrier Billing (DCB) platform deployments across telecom operators . The role focuses on execution, integration management, stakeholder coordination, regulatory compliance, and ensuring seamless platform deployment and stabilization.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Planning & Execution

- Manage complete lifecycle of DCB platform implementation from requirement gathering to deployment and post-launch support.
- Define project scope, milestones, deliverables, timelines, and resource planning.
- Prepare detailed project plans, execution schedules, and tracking mechanisms.
- Ensure projects are delivered within defined timelines, scope, and quality benchmarks.
- Identify project risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies.

2. Technical Implementation & Integration

- Lead integration of DCB platform with:
- Telecom operator billing systems
- Charging and payment gateways
- Subscription and consent management systems
- Merchant / content provider platforms
- Coordinate with engineering and product teams to ensure adherence to technical specifications.
- Review API documentation, integration flows, and system architecture requirements.
- Validate end-to-end customer journey including subscription flow, charging flow, and notification mechanisms.

3. Stakeholder Coordination

- Act as the primary implementation interface between telecom operators, technology teams.
- Conduct technical sessions, integration discussions, and requirement alignment sessions.
- Drive regular status meetings, progress reporting, and escalation handling.
- Ensure clear communication between internal and external technical stakeholders.

4. Compliance & Governance

- Ensure implementation aligns with telecom regulatory frameworks and operator technical guidelines.
- Implement consent frameworks, refund handling workflows, and anti-fraud safeguards as per operator policies.

5. Testing & Quality Assurance

- Define and manage UAT plans, test scenarios, and acceptance criteria.
- Coordinate with QA teams and operator technical teams for integration testing.
- Oversee pilot launches and ensure readiness for commercial deployment.

6. Deployment & Post-Launch Stabilization

- Manage go-live execution and production release coordination.
- Monitor platform performance post deployment.
- Handle defect tracking, issue resolution, and change management requests.
- Ensure SLA adherence and operational handover to support teams.

Required Skills & Competencies

- Strong understanding of telecom ecosystem and Direct Carrier Billing workflows.
- Knowledge of telecom billing systems, charging gateways, and subscription platforms.

- Experience with API integrations and payment processing architectures.
- Strong project planning, execution, and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies
- Excellent stakeholder coordination and problem-solving capabilities.
