Sharepoint Developer -SPFx

Oliver Wyman Group is looking for a Microsoft SharePoint Technology Solutions Analyst who will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining SharePoint sites and solutions to meet the needs of our organization. This role requires a solid understanding of SharePoint architecture, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

This role is 100% hands on development/implementation.

Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 6-10 years of experience in SharePoint development and administration.
- Proficiency in SharePoint Online, SharePoint 2016/2019, and Office 365.
- Strong knowledge of SharePoint Designer, Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power Shell scripting.

- Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, configure, and maintain SharePoint sites, libraries, lists, and workflows.
- Customize SharePoint solutions using SharePoint Designer, Power Shell, and other tools.
- Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Implement SharePoint-based workflows and document management solutions.
- Ensure the security and integrity of SharePoint data and applications.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SharePoint and Power Platform related issues.
- Stay updated with the latest SharePoint and Power Platform features and best practices.
- This position will require 100% of hands-on development or implementation work

Technical Skills

- Strong knowledge of SharePoint Designer, Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power Shell scripting.

- Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular.
- Familiarity with SharePoint Framework (SPFx) development.
- Understanding of RESTful services and APIs.

- Experience with SQL/No

SQL solutions and database management.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure services.
- Certification
- Good practical knowledge of cloud solutions (AWS preferred) and certification in this area would be a plus.
- If no certification is present, achieving the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certificate in first months of work will be a requirement for success.
