We are looking for a Product Management Trainee who is keen to build a career in Product Management within the BFSI/Fin Tech domain. The role involves working across technology, operations, marketing, sales, and customer-facing teams to support product development, execution, operations, and product promotion. The candidate should be comfortable understanding technical concepts, coordinating with multiple stakeholders, and supporting product marketing and go-to-market activities.
Key Responsibilities
Product & Business Support
- Assist in defining and documenting product requirements, workflows, and user journeys.
- Understand BFSI products such as Mutual Funds, Insurance, Lending, Wealth Products, and Digital Journeys.
- Support execution of the product roadmap and feature roll-outs.
- Analyze product usage, operational data, and customer feedback to identify improvement opportunities
Technical & Cross-Functional Coordination
- Act as a bridge between business, technology, operations, and marketing teams.
- Translate business and marketing requirements into functional specifications.
- Coordinate with developers, QA, and operations teams during implementation.
- Track tasks, dependencies, timelines, and issue resolution.
Marketing & Go-To-Market Support
- Support product marketing initiatives including feature launches, campaigns, and promotions.
- Work with marketing teams on campaign briefs, messaging, and customer communication.
- Help create and maintain product collateral such as presentations, FAQs, feature notes, and training material.
- Assist in planning and executing go-to-market strategies for new products or features.
- Analyze campaign performance, adoption metrics, and customer engagement
Operations & Execution
- Support day-to-day product operations and process optimization.
- Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and post-release monitoring.
- Ensure smooth execution of product changes with minimal customer impact.
- Maintain product documentation, SOPs, and dashboards
Customer & Stakeholder Interaction
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and occasionally customers/partners.
- Understand customer pain points and feedback from sales/support teams.
- Support issue analysis and resolution from a product and customer experience perspective
Required
Skills & Qualifications Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Management, Finance, IT, Marketing, or related fields.
- 0-1 Year of experience, fresher with strong learning intent will be preferred for process
- Strong interest in Product Management, BFSI, Fin Tech, Wealth Management and Financial Services.
- Understanding (or willingness to learn) of financial products and digital platforms.
- Basic understanding of technology concepts (systems, APIs, workflows – conceptual level).
- Awareness of digital marketing fundamentals (campaigns, funnels, messaging, customer journeys).
- Strong communication, coordination, and documentation skills
