Lead the Supply Chain Digital transformation strategy development & execution across planning, logistics, distribution & customer service towards building a best-in-class digital supply Chain.
This role will drive digital transformation of the global supply chain, ensuring real-time supply chain execution visibility through end-to-end connected logistics digitalization, step-changing supply chain analytics & decision augmentation capabilities, driving digital enablement for supply chain planning excellence & driving supply chain orchestration capabilities leveraging data & analytics maturity.
The role drives structural & operational evolution of supply chain digital capabilities in alignment with Apollo EDGE (Enhance. Digitize. Grow. Execute), owning the Digitize pillar towards an agile, resilient, and cost-optimized Apollo Tyres global supply chain.
Major Responsibilities
End-2-End Supply chain Digital Transformation & leadership: 20 %
Drive enterprise-wide supply chain digital transformation agenda in collaboration with the C-suite (CSCO, CDO), SCLT, Digital leadership team, etc.
Co- shape the global supply chain digital operating model, investment roadmap, and digital innovation priorities.
Own & govern the Digitalize stream of the global SC transformation program (Apollo EDGE), setting digital relevant KPIs, milestone-based governance, and regional alignment.
Engage the SCLT in monthly digital strategy & execution reviews and digital transformation health checks
Digital COE development & product owner concept introduction & institutionalisation: 20 %
Build and deploy the Product Owner concept and ways of working within the supply chain.
Drive agile digital product development, deployment, and adoption within the supply chain.
Identify and implement digital best practices and drive process improvements and cost-saving initiatives leveraging digital.
Govern multi-vendor and cross-geography supply chain digital teams; ensure delivery of quantifiable outcomes in cost, service, agility, and inventory.
Drive digital excellence across key supply chain domains.
Build and scale the Supply Chain Analytics competency & sophistication: 20 %
SC analytics competency to enable real-time business insights, response & efficiencies.
Move Apollo supply chain analytics from descriptive to predictive & prescriptive analytics, delivering differentiated recommendations & decision making.
Move towards global supply chain orchestration, leveraging cognitive decision automation anda collaboration center approach
Co-own & develop the supply chain data governance & management framework: 20%
Concept to Institutionalization of the supply chain data governance & management framework—processes, quality, controls, workflows, and system ownership.
Govern master data quality & integrity globally.
Implement digital data management & automation best practices, partnering with the central Digital function towards a robust integrated data lake architecture & data availability
Build Supply chain digital capability & people capability maturity: 20 %
Co-lead implementation and enhancement of planning & visibility platforms (APS, control towers, data lakes, AI/ML tools) for supply chain.
Drive logistics digitalization & transformation through execution platforms like TM/Zeus, WMS, real-time visibility platforms, logistics data hub, etc., and execution-monitoring tools.
Lead global supply chain digital capability development & upskilling. Drive shift to strong process + digital competencies & digital native capabilities
Internal & External Relationships
Internal Relationships : CSCO, CDO, Digital & IT Team, Supply Chain COE Teams, Logistics Team, Supply Chain Planning Team, Operations Team, Human Resources Team, Finance Team .
PURPOSE:
End-to-end alignment, Digital process & platform deployments, digital strategy execution, data & analytics governance, digital capability development & rollouts, digital budget adherence.
External Relationships : Customers, Digital vendor partners, Supply chain Suppliers and Vendors, Digital Regulatory Authorities, Third-Party Logistics Providers, Industry Bodies / Associations, thought leaders.
PURPOSE:
Linkage to customer needs, platform deployment, best practice integration, benchmarking, SC digital capability acceleration, and ensuring SC digital relevance
Skills & Knowledge
Experience
- 18+ years in Supply Chain Digital Transformation, including global program delivery.
- Strong expertise in planning systems (O9/APS), SAP APO, TMS/WMS, MDM platforms, analytics/AI tools, and data ecosystems.
Proven success in driving large-scale supply chain digital transformation, establishing digital KPI frameworks, master data governance, and digital operating models.
- Experience leading high-performing teams, influencing senior stakeholders - functions & regions.
