The Quality Engineer Specialist (QES) is our Lead role within the team. A QEL will be responsible

of supporting and leading a range of quality assurance tasks by leveraging strong technical skills

to collaborate into QA process improvement, using methods as test plans control, assisting on

complex manual or automation tests and create or maintaining software testing automation

solutions. The QES will be in charge of managing and leading other resources within his team or

the craft.

Roles & Responsibilities :

• Create the architecture and maintain test automation frameworks using software development

methodologies and defined technologies taking into consideration processes as CI CD and

multiple environments

• Create and maintain non functional tests (ADA, security, performance, etc.)

• Work across teams under agile methodologies participating under the QA role actively,

identifying requirements and analyzing design specifications with the team and communicating

in English with technical and non technical members

• Perform QA technical testing tasks like API and database testing interpreting queries and

database tables relations

• Create and track bugs defects

• Create manual test scenarios for automation test cases, identifying and prioritizing the ones

who are most suitable for automation testing to achieve the best coverage

• Sending status reports informing about status of the testing process, collecting metrics to

measure efficiency of processes, results of tests and raising relevant priority issues and risks

• Organize team allocation and participating actively into QA leadership or technology leadership

meetings

• Create level of effort LOE estimates

Organize and provide recommendations about trainings and material for resources, providing

mentoring and guidance for team members

• Expected client facing active communication

• Ensure content and structure of testing artifacts is documented and maintained using the best

practices for quality assurance automation solutions.

• Continuously learn about new technologies and self driven to stay on top of the QA trending, to

apply them on projects or furtherly participate in initiatives as mentoring and knowledge

transfer sessions with the team

• Research and recommend the most effective technologies, approaches and strategies for QA

Automation implementation across projects

• Review and recommend improvements to existing QA processes

• Prioritize necessary tasks and tests for successful testing executions

• Identify and inform effectively about potential quality issues and risks on projects

• Assist human resources team on recruitment processes

Management Responsibilities:

• Own initiatives such as but not limited to creating, presenting workshops, employees career

growth evaluations, all hands sessions etc

• Active member of the craft (assessments, job descriptions review, tests, Marcel Super Users, etc)

• Provide hands on support to the team

• Actively collaborates in recruiting and ramp up efforts

• Actively participate in recruitment process and actively made recommendations

• Proven record of raising the bar with improvements

• Effectively identify risks and provide recommendations

• Actively share postmortem lessons learned, trainings and communication with the team.

• Demonstrate business management and solid understanding of the organization's business

operations and industry.

• Demonstrate ability to take initiative and ownership with focus on continuous improvement.

• Contribute to process improvement and establishing process standards

• Interact effectively with other teams members, Product Project Management, Delivery VP and

Client directors.

• Communicates effectively and in a timely manner (Responds to emails and chats in a timely

manner)

• Offer technical coaching to other team member

• Participate in the Performance program as a Performance manager

• Act like a main contact person for the discovery, design, recommendation, development,

implementation, and on going support of client process workflows

Requirement:

• 8+ years of relevant work experience in the domain

• Software Engineering or a related degree

• 8+ years of QA Automation development experience

• 3+ year of Leadership experience

• ISTQB Foundation or QA related certification

• Functional Testing , Test Case Creation and Execution

• Bugs Creation,Web Services, Ticketing & Tracking Systems

• Agile methodologies, Estimation of Tasks, Efforts and Complexity

• Database Infrastructure & Queries

• API Testing& Testing Manager Systems
