Role Description
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Learning & Development – IT Soft Skills professional to design, deliver, and evaluate training programs that enhance employees’ communication, professional, and interpersonal skills within an IT-driven environment. The role focuses on improving workplace effectiveness, client interaction, leadership readiness, and overall professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver soft skills training programs tailored for IT professionals (freshers to senior engineers).
- Conduct training sessions on topics such as:
- Business Communication (verbal & written)
- Professional Email & Presentation Skills
- Workplace Etiquette & Corporate Behavior
- Time Management & Productivity
- Team Collaboration & Conflict Management
- Client Handling & Customer Communication
- Leadership & Managerial Readiness
- Assess training needs through skill gap analysis, feedback, and performance reviews.
- Customize training modules for different teams (technical, support, leadership).
- Facilitate classroom, virtual, and blended learning sessions.
- Develop training materials, presentations, role-plays, case studies, and assessments.
- Track and evaluate training effectiveness through feedback, reports, and KPIs.
- Work closely with HR, Team Leads, and Management to align training with business goals.
- Support employee onboarding and continuous development initiatives.
- Maintain training records, attendance, and progress reports.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Strong understanding of IT workplace culture and professional expectations.
- Ability to engage diverse audiences and manage group dynamics.
- Strong interpersonal, coaching, and mentoring abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office, presentation tools, and virtual training platforms.
- Analytical mindset to assess training impact and improvement areas.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, Psychology, Education, Management, or a related field.
- Certification in Training & Development / Soft Skills / L&D (preferred).
- 2–5 years of experience in soft skills training or L&D, preferably in an IT/Corporate environment.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working with IT teams, engineers, or technical professionals.
- Exposure to corporate training, employee development, or talent management.
- Experience in designing structured training calendars and learning roadmaps.
