About the Role
We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Lead Business Analyst with the ability to turn business requirements into clear data solutions, and has excellent communication. This role is ideal for someone who can evaluate key performance metrics, streamline analytical processes, and guide leadership with actionable recommendations.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Drive data-led decision-making by analyzing sales, inventory, and customer behavior to improve product, pricing, and store strategies.
- Translate non-technical business needs into structured analytical queries in SQL/Python.
- Validate data results with stakeholders to ensure business rules/requirements are correctly implemented.
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports that track key retail KPIs, enabling real-time performance visibility.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with merchandising, marketing, and operations to translate insights into business impact.
- Present strategic recommendations to leadership, influencing growth initiatives and operational efficiency.
Key
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field from a Tier-1 institution (e.g., IIT, IIM, ISB, BITS, NIT, or equivalent) with strong academic credentials.
- 6-10 years in business analytics, strategy, or data roles in a fast-paced D2C, e-commerce, or consumer tech environment.
- We focus on hiring top-tier talent from strong academic and professional backgrounds.
- Strong command of SQL, Excel, Python, and at least one BI tool (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.).
- Ability to understand core business drivers and translate data into strategic decisions.
- Strong analytical storytelling and presentation skills to communicate insights effectively.
- Bachelor's in Engineering, Economics, Statistics, Business, or a related field. MBA is a plus but not mandatory.
- Self-starter with high ownership, detail orientation, and a bias for action.
