Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Architect/Engineer with a strong background in application modernization and expertise in Oracle Cloud application development tools, as well as open-source development frameworks and tools. The ideal candidate will be deeply technical, hands-on, and adept at engaging with business and technical stakeholders to drive cloud transformation using Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and open-source technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Solution Architecture and Design:
- Design and implement cloud solutions for application modernization, focusing on integrating and modernizing applications using Oracle Cloud services and low-code tools.
- Utilize Oracle’s modern development frameworks and tools, including:
- Oracle Visual Builder for low-code application development.
- Oracle APEX (Application Express) for rapid application development and low-code solutions.
- Oracle Integration Cloud for connecting applications and services.
- Oracle Functions for serverless computing.
- Oracle JET (JavaScript Extension Toolkit) for developing modern web applications.
- Oracle ADF (Application Development Framework) for building enterprise applications.
- Oracle Autonomous Database for simplified database management.
- Oracle Container Engine for Kubernetes (OKE) for container orchestration.
- Oracle API Gateway and Oracle API Platform Cloud Service for managing and securing APIs.
- Design and deploy APIs to facilitate interactions between microservices and external systems, enhancing connectivity and data exchange.

- Knowledge of Linux operating systems, load balancers, HA/DR strategies, and storage architectures.

- Solution Development:
- Proven track record in creating detailed technical architectures and product solutions, including solution sizing, costing, and configuration.
- Ability to develop and deliver detailed product presentations and conduct hands-on workshops for customer education.
- Customer Engagement and Management:
- Engage with customers to understand their business problems and goals and develop tailored solutions using Oracle Cloud services.
- Present high-quality solutions and technical demonstrations to multiple lines of business and management levels, clearly articulating the value of Oracle’s application development tools and cloud services.
- Build strong customer relationships and act as a trusted advisor, guiding customers through their cloud modernization journey.

Qualifications:

- Experience:

- 8+ years of total experience in consulting or solution engineering, with 5+ years of proven domain knowledge in application modernization and integration.
- Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing cloud solutions using Oracle Cloud application development tools and open-source technologies.

- Certifications:

- Preferred certifications in OCI, such as Solution Architect or Developer.

- Education:

- Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred, with relevant experience.
