Role Overview :
We are seeking passionate and qualified German educator to join our IB Primary Years Programme (PYP). The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality German language instruction aligned with the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) philosophy with a deep understanding of the IB curriculum and be capable of delivering engaging, inquiry-based lessons that develop critical thinking and real-world application of scientific and mathematical concepts.
Key Responsibilities
For PYP (Primary Years Programme):
Design and deliver transdisciplinary lessons in alignment with IB PYP principles.
Integrate inquiry-based learning and concept-driven instruction.
Foster curiosity, collaboration, and creativity among young learners.
Collaborate with homeroom and specialist teachers to ensure a holistic learning experience.
Use formative and summative assessment tools to monitor and report student progress.
Maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
Actively participate in PYP planning meetings, training, and school events.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Education and/or relevant subject area (German).
IB-certified training in PYP (preferred min 2 – 5 years).
2–5 years of relevant teaching experience in an IB or international curriculum setting.
Strong knowledge of IB philosophy, inquiry-based learning, and assessment strategies.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
Proficient in educational technology and blended learning practices
