About the Role
- We are looking for a highly creative and trend-aware individual who understands how Gen Z consumes short-form content, especially on Instagram Reels. The role focuses on conceptualizing engaging, culturally relevant, and platform-native reel ideas that can drive strong engagement and reach.
This is primarily a concept and strategy role. The candidate will not be required to shoot or edit content, but should have a solid understanding of the shooting and editing process to ensure ideas are practical and execution-friendly.
Key Responsibilities
- • Develop creative concepts and storylines for Instagram Reels aligned with brand goals
• Stay updated with Gen Z trends, memes, formats, and viral content patterns
• Translate trends into brand-relevant content ideas rather than simply replicating them
• Create reel concepts with strong hooks, engaging flow, and clear end payoffs
• Provide direction on camera angles, framing, transitions, pacing, captions, and music usage
• Collaborate with marketing, social media, and production teams to ensure concepts are executed as intended
• Maintain a strong understanding of what drives engagement, retention, and relatability on Instagram Reels
• Support content planning and maintain oversight of the creative pipeline
Required Skills
- • Strong creative thinking and ideation skills
• Deep understanding of Gen Z internet culture and short-form content behavior
• High awareness of current and emerging social media trends
• Working knowledge of reel shooting techniques and editing styles
• Ability to clearly communicate creative ideas and guide internal teams
• Strong coordination and collaboration skills
Good to Have
- • Prior experience working on content for brands or creators
• Understanding of social media analytics and content performance insights
• Experience collaborating with creators, editors, or social media teams
