Senior Accountant

About

The Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant with a robust understanding of accounting principles and practices.

The candidate is expected to lead following work- streams:

Expert accounting knowledge with expertise in Tally and Excel including Pivot Tables, Charts, VLOOKUP, etc.
GST knowledge for return filingincluding Annual Returns,GST Audit handling, GST Refund application and visiting the departments
PF calculation, PF return filing,Employee PF queries handling
End to end Payroll processexecution including payrollpreparation, accounting and filing TDS returns , Foreign Exchange accounting and entries and reconciliations of Bank, GST, Income Tax, TDS, Ledgers, ITC etc.
Handling sensitive documentation including agreements, invoices,vouchers.
Compliance documentation including Board Resolutions, Minutesof Meetings register, etc.
Raising sales invoices;
Generate and ensurethe timely and accurate raisingof sales invoices and Handling day to day payroll, reimbursement related queries from employees and contractors
Prepare comprehensive MIS reports including project accounting, arrivingat project profitability and presentation of reports to management without any supervision
Vendor negotiations;
Participate in vendor negotiations to secure favourable terms and cost-effective solutions by Implementing and monitoring cost control measures.
Income tax knowledge for Company’s Return Filing, Advance Tax Planning, Tax savings

Background and

Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance,or a related field. A Master’s degreeor professional accounting certification (e.g., CA, CPA) is preferred.
Minimum of 3.5 years of progressive accounting experience.
Advanced proficiency in Tally and Microsoft Excelincluding Pivot Tables,Charts, VLOOKUP, etc.
Strong understanding of GST laws and returnfiling procedures and Knowledge of PF regulations and return filing processes.
Experience in managing end-to-end payroll processes and TDS compliance.
Ability to performcomplex reconciliations and Experience in handling sensitive financial documentation.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, presentation and organizational skills
