Overview
Summary As a Continuous Improvement Leader, you will play a critical role in identifying, implementing, and sustaining improvements in our manufacturing processes. The successful candidate will be a quick learner, highly analytical, and possess Lean/TPM training or certifications. They will have the opportunity to significantly impact our operational efficiency and product quality. This person will be instrumental in building our Continuous Improvement/Lean culture and leading kaizen events throughout the year.
Responsibilities- Drive Operational Excellence in the facility via Lean/Kaizen events, CI activities, Projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Conduct data analysis and root cause analysis to identify areas of improvement.
- Develop and implement strategies for process optimization and waste reduction.
- Lead Lean initiatives and projects aimed at improving productivity and efficiency (OEE).
- Manage a portfolio of process improvement projects.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to continuous improvement efforts.
- Train and mentor team members on Lean/TPM principles and best practices.
- Act as a change agent, driving a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization.
- Ensure that improvements are sustained over time through effective documentation and standardization of processes.
- Create effective communication channels to disseminate project insights and results throughout the organization.
- Adhere to established company values, practices, policies, and procedures at all times. Follow and support compliance with all applicable safety rules, laws, regulations, and standards.
- Maintain an open and candid working relationship with immediate supervisor/manager in discussing matters of importance.
- Demonstrate regular and punctual attendance at the assigned work location.

Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities- Deal effectively with people in various job capacities.

- Skilled in analyzing target audience and presenting ideas in a clear, concise manner.
- Demonstrate strong organizational, problem solving, and people skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a focus on report building, listening, and the ability to deliver effective training programs.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously; use excellent project coordination skills.
- Operate a computer – PC proficiency.
- Strong computer skills including minimum Intermediate level Microsoft Excel.
- Effectively and professionally communicate with co-workers, team members, and internal or external customers. Present information clearly and accurately.
- Pay attention to details and pursue quality in accomplishing work duties and tasks. Look for opportunities to reduce costs or increase productivity without reducing effectiveness.
- Efficiently perform accurate mathematical calculations.
- Handle challenges skillfully, thoroughly, and effectively.
- Independently take advantage of opportunities to improve or increase skills, abilities, and job knowledge. Make sure that work is delivered on time and of high quality.

An individual qualified for this job must have and maintain the following qualifications:
- Strong preference for bachelor s degree in relative major; will consider additional years of experience in lieu of degree.
- Experience - 2 years minimum in a Continuous Improvement role (100% of duties = CI) in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Six Sigma or Continuous Improvement certifications a plus.
- 5-years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated experience in holding LEAN events, value stream analysis.
