As a Freight Broker, you will be pivotal in driving new business acquisition and expanding those relationships.

Role Description

This is a full-time (entry level or experienced) Account Executive role
- Gulfport location. The Account Executive will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a book-of-business, building relationships with clients & carriers, and promoting MLM Supply Chain Solutions.

Duties
  • Proactively prospect through strategic research and cold call outreach to acquire new clients
  • Analyze clients' transportation needs and propose freight solutions to meet their requirements
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure continued satisfaction and loyalty
  • Negotiate competitive rates and contracts with clients and carriers to maximize profitability and service delivery
  • Collaborate with our internal team and management to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Meet or exceed established sales targets and performance metrics consistently
Qualifications
  • Results driven individual that exhibits strong sense of urgency with the ability to be proactive instead of reactive
  • Goal-oriented with a demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and objectives
  • Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to thrive independently and as part of a collaborative team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred, but not required
  • Base salary with commission
