Food Prep Person

Our franchise organization, TBD Foods, LLC dba Golden Corral, is currently seeking energetic, friendly individuals to join our team!

The quality, quantity, freshness, tastiness, and presentation of our products significantly impact our guests' perceptions of Golden Corral. The Food Prep Person is responsible for preparing all fresh fruits and vegetables used in Golden Corral, including cutting, slicing, peeling, etc. The freshness of our Cold Choice Buffet reflects our commitment to high-quality, fresh offerings.

Operational Excellence:

• Prepares prep items according to Golden Corral product specifications and recipes.
• Maintains a standard inventory of prep items following the Prep Production Guide and updates it as directed by management.
• Ensures maximum yield of products through proper product cycle management.
• Labels, dates, and rotates all bulk produce and prepped items.
• Stores all food items in approved, covered containers.
• Follows the buffet production system to ensure quality and shelf life compliance.
• Reports discrepancies such as food spoilage, invoice errors, or waste to the Manager.
• Assists the Buffet Attendant in maintaining a full, clean buffet.
• Cleans and organizes the prep area, including coolers, equipment, and storage areas.
• Performs duties as scheduled, ensuring cleanliness, service quality, and standards are met.
• Adheres to local health department laws and regulations.

Guest Service:

• Performs administrative tasks and assists guests during meal periods.
