Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources is actively seeking an energetic and motivated Clinician to provide therapy services to youth and adolescents in Harrison County as part of our Transitional Outreach Program (TOPS). The position is located in Gulfport, MS. TOPS is designed to assist individuals with independent living skills and with reaching educational goals. The TOPS Clinician plays a significant role in Pine Belt's ability to provide therapy services to youth in Harrison County.

We are seeking an ambitious and positive therapist who can build rapport with consumers to effectively assess, address, and treat serious emotional disturbances.

• Master's degree in behavioral health required
• Professional clinical licensure preferred or must be able to obtain DMH therapist certification within 60 days of hire
• Behavioral health internship required

• Behavioral health experience preferred
• Conduct universal screenings and ongoing therapy, and make referrals based on screenings within integrated primary care, CPS, juvenile justice, and/or child advocacy settings.
• Develops treatment plans for each consumer and is able to make referrals to other programs as needed.
• Participates in team staffings and functions as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team.
• Provides clinical therapy services and emergency services to consumers and their families.
• Uses information obtained in clinical observations to suggest diagnosis and estimate severity of condition.
