Treatment Technician -CSU

Summary

We are actively seeking Active Treatment Technicians for our Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) in Gulfport, MS. The Technician works under a registered nurse and assists consumers according to treatment plans.

• Bachelor's degree required
• Behavioral healthcare preferred
• Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record required
• Good interpersonal skills necessary to deal tactfully and effectively with people in crisis situations
• Ability to accept direction and responsibility for the care of consumers under treatment for psychiatric disorders

• Accepts emergency/crisis calls and responds to front-line first responder needs via telephone
• Triages calls according to intensity, service needs, critical timing, and assignment of staff
• Assists residents in all areas of physical care and hygiene of patients
• Documents client behaviors observed during shift and charts into Electronic Medical Records
• Participates in activities for clients
• Prepares, gives, and participates in instructional training
