Cleans and maintains the property’s public space – casino, lobbies, front drive, pool deck, spa/salon, elevators – ensuring guest comfort, safety, and satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Enhances the guest experience by providing exceptional service.
- Cleans floors (vacuum, mop, shampoo) and spot‑clean as necessary.
- Monitors ash/trash containers, cleans and removes trash as necessary (includes pool deck, parking garage landings, BOH offices, etc.).
- Cleans ashtrays, glass surfaces, and restrooms.
- Cleans all BOH hall areas and assists with BOH office areas.
- Responsible for biohazard cleanup in assigned areas.
- Cleans slot bases/machines and pushes in slot chairs.
- Greets & interacts with guests when appropriate.
- Uses cleaning chemicals as instructed and safety equipment as required.
- Communicates all maintenance issues to supervisor.
- Executes daily cleaning projects.
- Collects and secures lost‑and‑found articles.
- Unloads shipping and receiving items into designated storage areas.
- Assists with hurricane/storm preparation by moving pallets, boxes, equipment into designated safe areas.
- Restocks storage closets daily.
- Trains new employees as needed.
- Establishes and maintains close working relationships with all Hard Rockers to ensure maximum cooperation, productivity, morale, and guest service.
- Adheres to department and property policies and procedures.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to work with exposure to outside weather conditions including heat, humidity, sun, wind and rain.
- High energy level.
- Good judgment and common sense.
- Ability to deal with people in a manner that shows sensitivity, tact, and professionalism.
