Food Runner

(This position is paid hourly and tipped out)

Lucy Buffett's LuLu's is a Fast Paced, High Volume, Casual, Family Oriented Restaurant where Food, Fun, and Music are always a part of our culture. We are currently hiring for Food Runners in our Gulf Shores, AL location.

The Food Runners assists both Front-of-the-House and Back-of-the-House staff by delivering food items to guests’ tables in a timely manner.

• Delivers food items in a timely manner to ensure optimum food temperature when it reaches the guests
• Communicates any relevant messages to servers and/or bartenders regarding guests’ requests/needs
• Sets up and breaks down work station in accordance to department procedures and standards
• Maintains adequate par levels of condiments, garnishes and other related items. Preps condiments as needed
• Review each receipt to ensure order has been prepared accurately and to restaurant and guest satisfaction
• Garnish and prepare dishes according to quality control guidelines
• Completes all opening, running and closing duties as assigned

• Paid Weekly (EVERY FRIDAY!)
• Closed for all Winter Holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Years Day)

• Growth! We love promoting from within and opportunities are always coming up. For example if you are hired as a Line Cook, next step would be Crew Captain (shift lead), then a Kitchen Supervisor, after that Kitchen Manager. This could also go into a Head Chef or Executive Chef position.
