Job SummaryA board-certified Plastic Surgery and Oral Surgery practice is seeking a detail-oriented and patient-focused Surgical Technician to join its luxury, in-person surgical team. This role is essential in supporting surgeons during procedures, maintaining a sterile environment, and delivering exceptional patient care and customer service in a high-end clinical setting. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, adaptable, and committed to surgical excellence and patient safety.
Job Responsibilities- Prepare operating rooms with necessary surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies.
- Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and materials efficiently.
- Maintain a sterile field throughout all surgical procedures.
- Handle, label, and process surgical specimens for laboratory analysis.
- Manage and update medical records related to surgical cases.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety, comfort, and smooth workflow.
- Support room turnover and readiness for subsequent procedures.
- Certified Surgical Technologist (required).
- CSPDT certification (preferred).
- Minimum 1 year of surgery/operating room experience (preferred).
- Experience working in OR or ambulatory surgery center environments.
- Knowledge of medical records management.
- Familiarity with acute care or hospital-based surgical settings.
- Understanding of plastic surgery and oral surgery procedures.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and sterile technique.
- Excellent attention to detail, communication, and patient care skills.
- Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced surgical environment.
