Triton Environmental, LLC
is actively searching for a Project Manager to join our Coastal Permitting team in Guilford, Connecticut. Triton is a full-service environmental consulting and engineering services firm, and part of True Environmental ("True"). At True we are building a diversified environmental services organization focused on consulting and engineering, water/wastewater management, testing/analytical services, and value-add remediation services. This is a great opportunity to join our growing team!
What you'll do
- Participating with a variety of coastal projects from the proposal stage through planning, design and construction;
- Leading or managing multi-disciplinary project teams, collaborating and working efficiently with engineers, scientists, and managers at all levels, and communicating effectively with clients;
- Conducting studies and analyses related to the planning, permitting, design, and development for new and existing marine projects, both large and small;
- Leading and participating in multi-disciplinary teams to complete environmental impact assessments and implementation of coastal engineering solutions;
- Managing multiple project deadlines, budgets, and scope changes;
- Providing coastal consulting and engineering support during construction;
- Developing and sustaining positive business relationships;
- Offering innovative solutions to clients through business development initiatives;
- Providing technical direction and mentoring to junior staff.
- 10+ years experience in the field of coastal permitting and engineering including experience with State and federal permitting for dredging projects and other coastal infrastructure;
- Degree in a related scientific field (preferably Master's degree). Civil or Coastal Engineering degree preferable, but not mandatory.
- Good communication, leadership, problem solving, mentoring, writing, and people skills;
- Exhibit a high degree of motivation, strategic planning, self-starting capability and able to work autonomously;
- A team player and the ability to motivate and lead by example;
- Ability to write proposals and technical reports;
- Committed to technical excellence.
