** Three years of general office experience OR an Associate's degree or equivalent may be substituted for the required work experience. Must be able to keyboard at a moderate rate of speed.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Processes and disseminates student schedules, report cards, and interims per software program requirements.
Provides feedback on software issues or problems that arise in the performance of job responsibilities.

Ability to exercise independent judgment in prioritizing and completing requests from school-based staff, central office staff, parents, and students.
Proficiency with computer technology in the office setting includes various words.
Basic operating knowledge of other office equipment. APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS Applicants who meet the minimum qualifications will be included in further evaluation. Interviews will be limited to those applicants who, in addition to meeting the basic requirements, have experience which most closely match the position of qualifications and the needs of the school system.
** Compensation
* * This is a 10-month per year position in the Howard County Education Association, Educational Support Professionals (HCEA-ESP) employee unit. The for this position is Grade VIII on the Step placement will be in accordance with the salary procedures of the Howard County Public School System and the HCEA-ESP Master Agreement which considers relevant prior experience. Under the Fair Labor Standards Act, this position is
